Graeagle
and the surrounding area is full of fantastic amenities.
Within just a few miles from town, there are four 18
hole, championship golf courses, plus world class restaurants
which offer unique dining in relaxed atmospheres.
Once in town, you can casually
stroll down the main street and visit many of the
quaint local merchant shops and discover some of
their one-of-a-kind wares.
In summer, have fun cooling off
in the Mill Pond, the local swimming hole, or hiking
the many nearby mountain trails. In fact, only about
ten minutes from town, you can enjoy the Lakes Basin
recreation area which features over seven mountain
lakes just waiting for activities such as swimming,
fishing and even water skiing. In the winter, the
Lakes Basin is also popular with snowmobilers, snowshoers,
and cross country skiers.
Each year, the area is known for
celebrating July 4th with special events such as
the Mohawk Valley Independence Day Parade, which
includes an aerial fireworks display over the Mill
Pond.
Easily accessible in the winter
time, the area is only an hour away from major shopping
stores, but still offers all the peace and quiet
one would expect far enough away from the fast pace
of city life.
